Christians, What We Do from Here is How We Will Be Remembered!

“My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever.

Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.

Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.

Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.” (Psalms 45: 1-6)

Christian teachers will not hesitate in their sermons to present the glory of our redemption and our ultimate calling within God’s priestly kingdom. We are consistently told about the splendor that awaits, for all those who believe.

These teachings have reinforced God’s people’s beliefs in heaven but have also limited God’s people’s belief in humanity. Look all around the world and we can see the love for many has grown cold. Peace has been taken from the earth and we are about to witness more economic hardship to those who have already lost everything.

Those who are instructed to be a beacon of hope and love, during this time, have forsaken that solemn vow and have lusted after their own greedy ambition. Money has become the god of this world and we are seeing that god destabilize right before our eyes. Those left with no god, will look to those who proclaim we have God, for guidance going forward.

We can all see this new world unfolding but we as Christians are failing to lead. Take a look from the non-American view toward the United States: we have shown our greed and lust to the world, we have forsaken every agreement we have ever made, we are racist and our police will kill anyone for any reason, our “Christians” fight for the unborn while forsaking the poor longing for help, violence thrives while corporate greed has infected the entire globe. No wonder the world hates us. We have shown them no reason to think otherwise and we will reap what we have sown.

Anyone who has studied Bible Prophecy understand that the United States is not present or is very difficult to find, either way we are not major players in the end time events. This has led many to proclaim we will be exempt or that the United States will not be a nation when the end comes. Most scholars agree with the later.

Understanding the fate of this great nation, we must also understand our fate. Our world will change so drastically that we no longer recognize this world. This is by design but our actions toward it are not. We are to be a light for the rest of the world to follow.

When the United States no longer exists (all empires fall), how will the world view Christians? Considering America has proclaimed that we are a Christian nation, we are then the representatives to the entire world on behalf of our God. How we act going forward will be how we are remembered in history. Did we stand up for our God, not the leaders or governments that proclaim they are god, or did we conform to this world? Did our hate and greed consume us, or did we come together to “save humanity”? Considering a large portion of the American Christian community believes in a pre-tribulation raptures, wages can be placed that we will do nothing.

We are told that the New Babylon will be destroyed, and the entire world will sit back and watch that nation burn. No one comes to help. No one can even understand what happened as we are told the merchants of the world morn for their loss.

If we are to give the world any hope that Jesus is the Messiah and that He will return for those who love Him, we need to show why God loves us. We must show why He chose to die for all of us and has allowed humanity the ability to be forgiven.

If we take a step back and look at everything, we know that God does not need to save any of us. We deserve nothing and all of us are retched and vial. We all deserve eternal punishment. When we allow ourselves to understand this, then our infighting about whose lives have more value will seem trivial. None of us have value unless God gives us value. We are only here to do His will. If we are not willing to do so, then we deserve what will come to us!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” (John 3: 16-20)
